MNEA 2024-25 Membership Dues Payment

Greetings,

For the 2024-25 school year, members who pay their membership dues through checking or savings account will be switching to a bi-weekly (every two weeks) payment schedule so they will have the "summers off" from paying dues. Their bi-weekly payment should be about $37.83($756.50 divided by 20 payments = $37.83).

Members who choose to pay their membership dues via credit card will keep the current monthly pay schedule. Their monthly payments would be about $63.04 (756.50 divided by 12 payments = $63.04). Since this is 12-month pay method, there are payments through the summer months of June, July, and August).

See the example https://mnea.com/s/eDues.JPG of the MNEA eDues draw cycle with 20 equal payments during the 2024-2025 membership year. As already stated, a certified member would pay roughly $37.83 per pay period in dues. By comparison the “old” 12-month cycle (September – August / 12 equal payment) would be $63.04.

Again, the key to the membership dues via checking or savings account is the 20-payment cycle completes right at the end of the school year – there would be a final payment in June (6/6/2025) for the 20 equal pay cycle. Then members would have the summer off from dues obligations. Please note the 20 payments is not available if paying by credit card. If you would like to switch your pay method to checking or savings, please go to https://edues.nea.org/eDues/righthere.jsp?TN  . The best date to change your pay method from CC (Credit Card) to EFT (Checking or Savings) is September 1st thru Sept 5th.
