TEAM Evaluation Growth and Achievement Measure Selection Guide

2022-23 Growth and Achievement Measure Selection Guidance

Growth and achievement measure selections and scales should be entered into TNCompass by December 2. Other evaluation-related deadlines, as well as associated resources, can be found on the 2022-23 TEAM Evaluation Timeline.   

Advice from MNEA:

When you select your achievement measure, document your selection via email to your principal (so there is a time/date stamp).  Your principal cannot override your choice.  Evaluations are grievable under two circumstances: 1) procedural violations (observer didn’t follow the process outlined in the state board policy or in established local policy) or 2) data violation (wrong achievement measure used in calculating your LOE score).

In order to grieve, you must provide documentation (outside of TNCompass) of the measure you selected. This is why we recommend sending your achievement measure selection to your principal via email. Be sure to retain a copy of the email in your personal records (e.g. forward a copy of the email to your personal email address).
