The Representative Assembly is the legislative body of the Association. It is composed of active member delegates chosen by affiliated associations, student delegates chosen according to a procedure adopted by the Board of Directors, and members of the Association Board of Directors who shall be delegates at-large. The Tennessee Retired Teachers’ Association shall elect one voting delegate and two non-voting delegates to the Representative Assembly.

The Representative Assembly shall have the power to elect officers, adopt a budget, establish general policies of the Association, and transact such business of the Association as may be legally brought before it. 

Delegates must have completed the registration form in order to receive their delegate credentials.
