MNEA applauds the district’s decision to prioritize the health and safety of teachers and staff by offering the option for school-based staff to work remotely on the January 4th-6th noninstructional days.
Additionally, the district is continuing the policy of allowing staff who test positive for COVID-19 to work remotely during their isolation period instead of being charged sick leave. If you test positive, please communicate with your principal to ensure remote work opportunities are provided for you.
We look forward to continuing our partnership with the district to ensure safe working conditions for teachers and staff.
