Remote Learning 2.0
Remote Learning 2.0 is NOT:
*Virtual learning
*Homeschooling
*Classroom instruction
*Online classrooms
Remote Learning 2.0 IS:
*Crisis learning
*Filling a gap
*Imperfect, at best
*A learning experience for all
Remote Learning 2.0 SHOULD be:
*Simple
*Flexible
*Asynchronous
Remote Learning 2.0 SHOULD NOT be:
*Overly complicated
*Specific times everyone must adhere to
*Learning activities taking place at the same time for everyone
Between now and the end of the school year,
*Focus on the humanitarian aspect by connecting with students and families
*Offer learning opportunities for grades 3-11 on Schoology
*Focus on blended learning using learning packets and PBS programming for grades PreK-2
*Give feedback when students complete a learning activity
*Let students and families know when you’re available each week for them to connect with you
*Take care of yourself and your family
