Metropolitan Nashville Education Association’s mission is to promote excellence in Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools, seek community support for public education, secure economic and professional security for educators, maintain a strong united teaching organization, advance human and civil rights in education, and empower educators!
Granbery’s educators are passionate about their work and deeply committed to their students. But like many teachers across the country, they face challenges; from limited resources to increasing demands. By participating in the Walk-In, the Granbery staff, along with supportive families and students, showed that they believe in the power of education and in creating a better learning environment for every child.
MNEA educators are raising their voices! At school board meetings, they’re speaking up for students, fair pay, and stronger support in the classroom. Their advocacy is shaping better schools and a brighter future for all. #MNEA #PublicEducationMatters
