This summer, MNEA members proudly represented educators from across the state at the 2025 NEA Representative Assembly (RA); the largest democratic deliberative body in the world. Held in Portland, OR, the event brought together thousands of educators, ESPs, and public education advocates from all 50 states to shape the direction of the National Education Association (NEA) for the coming year.
State and national level advocacy:
Our members are represented at the state level by the Tennessee Education Association (TEA) and at the national level by the National Education Association (NEA). MNEA members can help drive the work of both organizations by serving as a delegate to the TEA Representative Assembly and NEA Representative Assembly.
