What is UniServ?
UniServ is an acronym for Unified Service. The
National Education Association, the Tennessee Education Association and
the Metropolitan Nashville Education Association fund the UniServ program
which provides professional staff so that members can receive quality
association services. MNEA has three full-time UniServ staff:
Forestine Cole, Ralph Smith and Gloria Towner. All three are former
MNPS teachers and MNEA leaders. They know our school system and
strive to empower Nashville’s teachers to improve teaching and learning
in our public schools.
